A small, expertly quilted "stitch sampler" made of sandstone red coloured cotton. The central square has 5 embroidered mirrors in a neat cross. Flat, never stitched up.

This type of practical stitching called Gudri is a craft of the nomadic desert herding tribes. They move their families and their livestock throughout the year, and these sturdy carry bags are made to be useful.

All original fine stitching in maroon, golds and olive green, a "sampler" of intricate Gudri stitches.
