Handwoven of handspun pure organic KALA cotton, yarn-dyed by hand with INDIGO dye
Lovely soft thick cotton texture, with patterned weave borders at both ends, in deepest dark indigo
Traditional hand wrapped tassel edging. Mortar shaped woven motifs floating in a creamy natural white body.
Kala cotton is an indigenous organic cotton that is tolerant to dry seasonal conditions and resilient to pests.

- INDIGO source dyed natural creamy off-white cotton - I call this "deepest dark indigo" for the navy-dark blue tone
- Hand spun, and hand woven in Kutch, in the coastal state of Gujarat
- Hand washable with special care. Cool water, do not soak. A pH neutral liquid detergent is essential.
