Solar disk-shaped ring in Silver

About 29mm across, with small silver beaded dome, like a little hat.

Scalloped beaded edge. Not an antique, but about 35 years old.

ABOUT ORIENT EXPRESS VINTAGE SILVER RINGS

These authentic antique silver rings were collected in India in the 1970's and 1980's at “street level” markets in Rajasthan, the desert state known as the “Land of Kings”.  They are good real silver but were made for local villagers, before the .925 stamp was in common use for export. They were much-loved  and carry the rich patina of years of wear that cannot be imitated.  I have cleaned them lightly to maintain the dark oxidization that highlights their old textures. Each is unique, please pay attention to the band size.  I like to imagine the stories that the hands who wore them could tell..
